Project Summary
The purpose of the strategic plan is to assemble and organize professionals, providers, and stakeholders to formulate a strategically sound, multi-sector continuum-of-care plan that addresses the growing opioid epidemic in central Missouri, a targeted four-county area. The goal is to establish a sustainable system of services and resources within this needful, rural, targeted service area to reduce the devastating impacts of opioid addiction on individuals, families, and service area communities. The project highlights the gaps in services in these remote counties and builds bridges of accessibility to needed resources within the region for individuals and families stricken by the opioid crisis.
