East Carolina University

The overall goal of this project is to reduce morbidity and mortality of individuals who use opioids within high-risk rural communities in North Carolina (NC). We will work with five high-risk rural counties in NC to expand or enhance their current overdose prevention infrastructure.

Farnham Inc. is a not-for-profit agency providing solutions to the problems created by substance use with an uncompromising commitment to quality and professionalism. Farnham will lead the project with partnering agencies Desens House & Cayuga County Community Mental Health Center.

Vegas Stronger

The project goal is to reduce morbidity and mortality of opioid overdoses across Nye County, Nevada, by expanding a successful opioid use disorder/substance use disorder/co-occurring use disorder response model from Las Vegas into the first of many potential under-served rural areas.

Fallon Paiute Shoshone Tribe

The FPST Rural Communities Opioid Response Program (RCORP) aims to reduce the morbidity and mortality of substance use disorder (SUD), including opioid use disorder (OUD), in high-risk rural communities.

Washington County Memorial Hospital

This Overdose Response funding request will maintain this same overarching goal of existing RCORP efforts by continuing to allow network members to meet the needs of the rural population of Washington County.
